     I was really curious about light quality in this painting. The light seems surreal but it turned out to be  very comforting. I didn't plan the colors at the beginning but followed how and what I feel along the course of this painting now I have to figure out how did I do it. Colors are still very mysterious and unpredictable to me when I work on each paintings but one thing for sure that each painting offers opportunities to come up with its own special color combinations.

I love the smell of jet fuel at the airport. Somehow it triggers my anticipation of up coming trip. Taxing from tarmac to runway the engines start come alive then V1, Rotate and off we go! Airborne!

My very first overseas flight was summer of 1977. I was lucky to be able to fly with PAN AM from Tokyo to San Francisco, flight was so awesome there weren't many passengers back then almost I had whole cabin of 747 and flight attendants all to myself. It was a flight of life time. No matter wherever we fly we can't do without hardworking flight attendants. So big thank you for all the flight attendants wherever you are flying today.

At the end of a day there is a magical moment before a evening starts, I can hardly hear the sound of waves and even the wind gets soft and quiet. The sands under my feet is still warm from the day feels somehow comforting. Some people doesn't want to go home quite yet like myself.

I'm so use to driving wherever I go but the other day I took a train to downtown for a change. It reminded me when I was living in Japan. Not like US Japanese cities were developed around train stations so I learned, practically I can go anywhere like from door to door over there. Somehow it was comforting to see so many people around me on the trains and stations.
